These sweet little notebooks feature covers metallic numbers from our typeface Collection. They were screen printed in two parts: first is a layer of tiny dots that give a spot-varnish effect, the on top come the numbers in a beautiful silver to gold gradient. As a little surprise, the dots are also printed on the inside cover (but not the numbers). The dark notebook features a rich midnight blue paper, the light cover is a sort of bone/bisque/beige (some color that probably starts with a “b”) and it has a very unique texture – it’s hard to describe… It’s almost like sandpaper, but it’s soft & smooth, not rough. It’s really weird and cool… you gotta feel it yourself.
The inside is filled with silky smooth off-white paper and there are no stupid lines, grids, or dots to distract you when laying down your ideas.

These notebooks were handmade in a very micro edition by Mumbai craftsmen. We enjoy working with small independent businesses, collaborating with them on projects, and pushing each other’s conceptions of what’s possible.
