Mota Pixel: How to Use
These are regular OpenType fonts – just the same as the non-pixel variety. Of course you can use them in just about any application, but to get the intended pixely-effect there are a couple extra steps.
They are made to work on a 20px high grid, so when specifying the size, always use it in increments of 20. Also, Mota Pixel wants specific pixels to be “on” or “off” so anti aliasing needs to be turned off or disabled.
If left on, you will notice the rendering will be grey and blurry instead of crisp black and white. This affect is desirable though if the fonts are either rotated or used at sizes not divisible by 20.
