There are numerous OpenType features built in. These are controlled by the specific application you are running the font in. Most should provide basic functions – such as ligatures – turned on by default.
More advanced features include small caps (smcp, c2sc), petite caps (pcap, c2pc, ss03), lining figures (lnum), tabular figures (tnum), fractions (frac), superiors and inferiors (sinf, subs, infs), discretionary ligatures (dlig), contextual alternates (calt), and case-sensitive forms (case).
The wide character set and fully programmed OpenType features allow you to easily typeset complex information. These are extremely useful in academic and scholarly texts, charts, graphs, and newspapers.
